Muslim Aid
In 1985, in reaction to the Horn of Africa drought, community leaders from seventeen Islamic organizations in the UK founded Muslim Aid. They are a non-governmental organization (NGO) based in the United Kingdom that helps those affected by poverty, hunger, disease, illiteracy, prejudice, homelessness, debt, unemployment, injustice, deprivation, or lack of economic opportunities. Their mission is to alleviate these sufferings and to promote social and economic justice.
Along with disaster assistance, they plan for the future by creating development initiatives that will help low-income areas and those who have survived natural disasters live more sustainably. Their organization is well-rounded, and they focus on several areas, including education, economic empowerment, capacity building, and the health of children and women.

Vision & Ethos
“The righteous give a portion of their riches to the poor and needy” (51:19) is how the Holy Qur’an defines a “godly” person, according to the verse. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) also taught that: “Every good deed is charity. And whoever guides others to a good deed is as good as the one who did it. And, without a doubt, God loves helping those in distress!” al Bayhaqi (the Great). “Love for humanity what you love for yourself!” is another saying of the prophet. in accordance with al-Bukhari.
“The life of one person is equal to the life of all humanity” (Qur’an 5:32).
The core principle of Muslim Aid is based on these teachings, which state that helping those in need is an essential part of being human. Anyone, of any creed or none at all, can and does do this.
Medical Aid
The provision of medical care is a fundamental human right; nonetheless, thousands of people do not have access to any medical services. You may assist in the provision of medications for tuberculosis and malaria, as well as assist expectant mothers in ensuring the safe delivery of their newborns. Your primary worry during this winter is for their well-being. Give right now.
Health care is a basic human right
The provision of medical treatment is not a luxury; but, for hundreds of millions of people all over the world, it is something that they are unable to obtain owing to socioeconomic and financial factors that are beyond their control.
Recent years have shown them how vitally crucial it is to maintain excellent health.
As a consequence of not having access to adequate medical treatment, millions of people all over the world are enduring the consequences of this precarious system.
The encouraging news is that by making a modest contribution to their appeal, you will be able to assist them in providing crucial medical care to those who are in the greatest need of it.
You have the power to save a life
When it comes to healthcare, Muslim Aid has been working relentlessly for more than three decades to provide a level playing field for all. Since the beginning, their objective has been to enhance the availability of high-quality medical care for the most vulnerable people of society. This includes those who are afflicted with diseases, who are hungry, and who have incurred injuries that could potentially result in death.
Act now to save lives
Empowered by their donors
Thanks to your generosity, they have provided life-saving medical assistance in a variety of forms to millions of individuals all over the globe. In nations hit by hunger, their group has worked to and is still delivering life-saving food supplies to children who are critically undernourished. They have dispatched medical relief vans to hotspots of conflict, such as Gaza and Syria, to assist wounded bystanders.
Pregnant women in rural areas have received prenatal care from their team, and new moms and their babies have received postnatal support. Furthermore, they have provided vital immunizations and medications to aid in the prevention and successful treatment of diseases including malaria and tuberculosis, among others. Many have benefited from their assistance, but there are millions more who are still waiting.
Aisha’s Story
One example of how essential their work is comes in the form of little Aisha.
They first met eight-month-old Aisha in a rural part of Somalia. Her family, like many others in the area, is perpetually poor. This means they can’t get their hands on safe, healthy food.
Along with her mother, Aisha went to the Muslim Aid health center in October 2019. The fast weight loss and diarrhoea that Aisha was experiencing worried her mother. The similar problem has befallen her sister before. Aisha was admitted to the clinic for treatment after an evaluation revealed that she had acute malnutrition.
Fortunately, Aisha started to feel better after her therapy and was eventually discharged. The Muslim Aid organization is keeping tabs on her, and in the meantime, her family has received nourishing vitamins and assistance.
Assist them in ending avoidable deaths from hunger and disease and in providing life-saving medical care to people who are suffering.
Their Mission

Please contribute whatever you are able to so that their team can continue to save others’ lives.
